Aruba is located fairly close to the equator. The sun is much more intense the closer you get to the equator. Aruba is certainly no different. However, Aruba enjoys some very nice, near constant Trade Winds that sweep over the island. These cool(er) Trade Winds cause people to forget how strong the sun is.  They usually pay the price later in the day - and for the rest of their vacation!

When traveling to Aruba, you will want to take plenty of sunscreen to avoid being burned the first day at the beach.  We offer a wide selection of sunscreen with differing protection factors.
