Historic Landmarks Aruba boasts a long and colorful history - one of the longest histories in the Western Hemisphere.  Aruba's first inhabitants were the Caquetios Indians who migrated there from Venezuela before 1000 AD.  It took until 1499 for Europeans to find the island when Spanish explorer Alonso de Ojeda established a colony.
Natural Wonders When expolring Aruba you will find incredible natural wonders such as the "baby" Natural Bridge in Arikok National Park.  On such a small island you will begin to appreciate that there is always something for everyone.
Paradise Found As you step foot on the island you find your stress will melt away.  Here in Aruba you will find a place to enjoy the sun, sit in the shade and read that book you kept meaning to read, relax in the cool clear waters or decide to do all three.
Incredible Coastlines From the rugged coastline in the Arikok National Park to the crystal clear waters and white sand of Baby Beach there is a coast and a beach for everyone.  All of the beaches in Aruba are open to the public so all you need to do is find one that you like and enjoy!

Bon Bini - Your Guide to Aruba Travel

Aruba features natural wonders and great beaches and every water sport you can imagine. With all of the tropical paradises you could visit, this is why you have picked Aruba for your Caribbean vacation.

Aruba Travel Site - Divi Divi TreeWith its near-perfect weather, sunny skies, warm temperatures, and cooling breezes, Aruba takes all the guess work out of picking the perfect destination. Because the island is more of a desert than a rainforest, the humidity is low and it hardly ever rains.  Aruba is far south of the tropical storm belt, so hurricanes are not much of an issue.  In fact, there is rarely a hurricane within hundreds of miles.

Overall, Aruba is a tiny island. Only 20 miles long and 6 miles across at its widest point, it's slightly larger than Washington, D.C. Aruba is  the westernmost island in the Dutch ABC islands -- Aruba, Bonaire, and CuraƧao -- and less than 20 miles north of Venezuela.

It also has some of the best beaches in the Caribbean.  Miles of white, powdery sand; warm turquoise waters and plenty of space for sit down and relax.
